I honestly cannot recall the last time that Sarah and I were able to go for a hike. Our schedules have been full, to say the least, and have really not allowed for any extended outings. We managed to change that on Monday though, as we both had the day off, and surprisingly had a free morning. So, we decided to make the quick trip to Eisenhower Park in San Antonio. We pulled into the parking lot before 0700, and then set off on the trails. The weather was surprisingly cool for this time of the year, though I am by no means complaining about that. I do wish that we had been able to start just a little later on our hike, as the first 20 minutes or so of our adventure did not have great lighting and I hate shooting at a ridiculously high ISO.
Thankfully, by the time we had made it to the top of one of the peaks, the light was starting to shine through the clouds. The sky was filled with a lot of clouds, so I did wait around, as much as I could tolerate, for the sun to pop through in order to get a picture with some color. Overall the hike was a decent one, as far as exercise goes. The pictures are random, as always, though they were a nice change of pace. For the last eight months the pictures that I’ve taken have been work related, and haven’t been released yet. As soon as they are, I’ll post some here.
Enough of my rambling, it’s time for pictures.
